New Entry: Hot Dreams Reveal New Single "Changing of the Pines"

London indie rock/alt band Hot Dreams have revealed their new single "Changing of the Pines".

The is out now, from our forthcoming EP of the same name. We have already heard their previous track "Raincoat".

From the band: "Changing of the Pines is a song that ogles open-mouthed at the beauty of nature and tries to convey the freedom to be found in realising our lives are the smallest dot on a vast tapestry. We make the most of what small time we have, get things wrong, be nice to people, and pay it forward when we become worm food.”

New Entry: The Asteroid No.4 Drop New Single "Swiss Mountain Myth"

San Francisco-based psychedelic/rock band The Asteroid No.4 have dropped their new single "Swiss Mountain Myth".

The song is taken from their upcoming tenth studio album 'Northern Songs', set to be released later this summer via a partnership with UK-based Cardinal Fuzz Records and Portland’s Little Cloud Records.

Speaking about it, the band explains: “It’s kind of our version of The Shining. We were on tour in Europe a few years back and weeks into it hit some rough weather while driving through the alps in the dark. We ended up staying in a chalet in a small Swiss town just north of the Italian border.  We weren’t really jiving well with our driver the whole tour, he was pretty much a loose canon, having these periodical meltdowns. He also carried around a knife the size of a machete. This song was written while trying to fall asleep in that darkness, nervous he was going to murder us all during the night. Luckily he didn’t but managed to be an asshole the remainder of the tour and thereafter.”
