Watch: The fin. Release "Over the Hill" Concept Video

Japanese indie rock/synth pop/ethereal duo The fin. have released a concept video for "Over the Hill".

The song is part of our current playlist and is taken from their recent album 'Outer Ego', which came out in November 2021. Get it here.

"Over the Hill" was inspired by the cheerful times that The fin.'s members used to spend with their friends in Meriken Park, a seaside park in their hometown of Kobe.

Shot many years later in this same park, the concept video of "Over the Hill" reflects a wistful remembrance of these older days.

Watch: Real Lies Reveal New Single/Video "Dream On"

London bedroom pop/electronic duo Real Lies have revealed their new single "Dream On" and its accompanying music video.

The song is taken from their long-awaited sophomore album 'Lad Ash', set to be released  on  April 22 through their own UNREAL imprint. Pre-order your copy here.

Frontman Kevin Lee Kharas explains: “The song is also a love song, a song about sadness being brought out into the light. I don’t tend to write happy songs. But when you fall in love at first sight surrounded by all your best friends in a basement club on a humid Thursday night in July, it’s hard to remain neutral. Especially when you factor in the 2-for-1 deal on bottles of Canei.”

Watch: Big Image Drop New Single/Video "Something"

Birmingham baggy/psych band Big Image (formerly known as Ivory Wave) have dropped the video for their new single "Something".

The song is out today (Jan 26) and is taken from their forthcoming EP ‘Human Touch Is Forever’, which will be released 27th April. Get it here.

Speaking about it vocalist George Johnson says, “I wrote ‘Something’ the day before we first met up as a band after lockdown. I was really missing going out so the song is about all the best nights out we’ve had rolled into one (hence the super obvious acid house influence). I wrote it in about 30 minutes. It’s really just a super simple pop song and that’s why I love it.”

Bassist Luke Morris adds, “‘Something’ lyrically tells the story of finding someone at a rave/club and spending the night with them. When George played me the demo I knew it was a single. It’s the most acid house tune we’ve done, a proper party anthem desperate to be heard by the masses.”
