New Entry: Nanami Ozone Reveal New Song "3 Mile Drive"

Phoenix, Arizona post-rock quartet Nanami Ozone have revealed their new song "3 Mile Drive".

The 'Alone Too / 3 Mile Drive' digital 45 is out now. Both songs are taken from their upcoming sophomore album 'NO', set to be released in early 2019 via Tiny Engines.

Just as idiosyncrasies make love interesting, it's the idiosyncrasies that make Nanami Ozone's music interesting. Not quite pop, not quite punk, not quite shoegaze. The band breathes new life into subdued indie pop music as they add elements of emotive rock and components of impassioned and dark shoegaze. What results is music crafting with the intention of being turned up and felt throughout the listener’s entire body.

Stats Announce Debut LP 'Other People's Lives', Stream "There Is A Story I Tell About My Life"

London alt/disco/punk funk/pop band Stats have announced the release of their debut full-length album 'Other People's Lives'.

The 11-track album will be out on 15 February 2019 via Memphis Industries and features their new single "There Is A Story I Tell About My Life". Pre-order your copy here.

Recorded at London’s prestigious RAK Studios, band founder and front man Ed Seed, and his full live band spent time tracking the live jams that would form the bones of this newest single, and the rest of Other People’s Lives.

The sessions produced funk-tinged pieces of electronic-pop that now accompany Ed Seed’s compelling storytelling of humanity, domesticity, routine, love, loss and new fatherhood. Other People’s Lives investigates the gaps in the stories we tell about our lives.

Ricocheting between 1970s art rock, 80s synth grooves and cosmic disco-pop, Stats are a refreshing, modern band with a debut album that captures the now, the fleeting, the fickle and the forgotten – like that perfect moment lost on the dance floor – yet it presents it in a musical way that avoids being trapped to a time and place.
