Brighton-based indie pop/lo-fi Breathe Panel have announced they will release their long-awaited self-titled debut album on July 13th through Fat Cat Records.
The 11-track record was produced by Matt Johnson at Suburban Home Studio. Pre-order your copy here.
The band have also shared their new single "Sunrise / Sunshine". Of the track, the band said: “It’s a comment on how the unpredictable changes in nature can be beautiful and sometimes frustrating, and a reflection on how that can mirror in relationships between humans. We decided on this theme as we thought the guitar lines sounded like blooming flowers or plants with a constant underlying tension, so we went from there.”

London alt/disco/punk funk/pop band Stats have unleashed the video for their new single "I Am An Animal".
The song is out now via TalkShow Records. Buy it here.
"'I Am An Animal' is about catching yourself for a minute - naked, in the middle of the night, lying next to your lover - and being hit by the sheer unlikeliness of it all," says lead singer Ed Seed. "It's about how love returns you to your physical body and transforms your senses. Everyday life becomes a thing of wonder, as it is to a child."
Los Angeles fuzzpop/synthwave/electro pop artist L.A. Girlfriend (aka Sydney Banta) has released the video for "Wild".
The song is part of our current playlist and is taken from Banta's recent EP 'REGINA', released last friday (June 15). Buy it here.
About the clip and the track, she said: "'Wild' is a song built upon conflicting elements, like a heavy disco beat and an aggressive tone in lyric. I had the idea to visually represent it with a "Cheer Coven" – a group of girls that are on the same team, but very much against one another. It's a subtle nod to the theme of duality that runs throughout REGINA and was an opportunity to play with symbolism that I've embraced as an artist over the years."
