London disco punk/riot grrrl band Bugeye have unleashed their infectious new single "Disco Dancer".
The song was originally a demo track that was never lyrically finished. Due to demand from fans the band re-entered the studio in 2018 to finish the recording with legendary indie producer, Paul Tipler (Elastica, Stereolab, The Pipettes), and "it's a blend of punk guitar and disco synth hooks with a beat that commands you to the dance floor."
On the origins of ‘Disco Dancer’ singer Angela Martin commented, “It’s a song that looks at idolism, surface appearances and how the battle of the sexes continue to rage on.”
The single will be out via their own 31% Wool Ltd Label on 7th December. Listen here.
