Italian dark wave/cold wave duo Schonwald have announced the release of their fourth studio album 'Abstraction'.
The follow-up to 2017's Night Idyll, will be out on November 20 via Manic Depression Records. Pre-order it here
According to the press, the record " is in a similar mood as their previous three albums, but with an even stronger, technically improved but also darker sound. 'Abstraction's theme is inspired by esoteric hymns, aesthetic mantras, echoes of savage human nature. A voyage through introspection of the 21th century's utopian hopes."

Mexican indie/electronic multi instrumentalist/producer Mufti (aka Bernardo Barrera) has shared his new single "Inverse" feat. Vongold.
The song is taken from the forthcoming EP 'Silence', to be released November 27th via Her Majesty's Ship. Pre-order your copy here.
This project comes after being part of Los Fugazzi, and finds him focus more on rock variants and 80’s music. A mix of electronics with disco, electro, EBM and post punk define the sound. Vongold, meanwhile, is Nora Cam, a DJ and producer also from Guadalajara and influenced by genres such as disco, new wave and various girl bands. Her sounds seek to highlight the female voice, merging it with indie dance for an extra special edge.
The idea behind this EP, which draws on the influence of bands like Depeche Mode, Lebanon Hanover and The Kvb, was to "convey how we are constantly feeling anxious and chased by our failures. And
even if we need to scream, the pressure and idealisation of modern life immobilises us and shuts us up."
Malmö, Sweden indie/goth artist She/Beast (aka singer/bassist Katja Nielsen) has aired the video for her debut single "The Sadness Will Last Forever".
The song is taken from her debut EP 'In The Depths Of Mistery', set to be released on December 11 via PNKSLM Recordings. Pre-order your copy here.
About a year before she began work on She/Beast material, Nielsen was finally diagnosed with bipolar disorder after over a decade of suffering from it. Music, she says, was a crucial outlet for her to channel the rawness of her emotions, to spill her feelings into words and melodies. “Writing music has always been a coping strategy for me. Feelings get bottled up in a very destructive way if I don’t write a song about something I’m going through.”
The result is a pair of EPs, In the Depths of Misery and This Too Shall Pass; both titles are quotes from Vincent Van Gogh, another artist to have had bipolar, and taken together, they represent the emotional arc of the songs, which encompass despair, resolve and hope

Newcastle indie rock/alt band Swine Tax have unleashed visuals for their new single "Relax".
After witnessing the band perform an intense live set in Sunderland last year, Barry Hyde (The Futureheads) approached Swine Tax to produce their music in the studio. ‘Relax’ is the first track to emerge from these fruitful recording sessions - one that sees the band further sharpen their agitated, hook-driven sound. Propelled by a throbbing bass groove and a heavy punk beat, ‘Relax’ details the heady excitement of a night on the town.
Speaking on the single, the band said: “Relax is an ode to Newcastle’s primal club scene. It’s like a warped dance track, combining a speaker-shaking beat with a bittersweet pop chorus. It’s the intoxicated internal monologue of a big night out - the dancing, flirting, chest-crushing bass, rushes of blood, heightened senses, cutting loose and coming undone.”
