New Entry: Bugeye Release New Single "Electric"

London disco punk/riot grrrl band Bugeye have released their new single "Electric".

"Electric brings to life and mixes 80s disco with a flavour of 90s guitar bands with a fresh 2019 sound. Featuring catchy hook lines and melodies about the causal nature of modern day love."

It was produced by Paul Tipler (LIINES, Elastica, Sophie and the Giants). Stream it below.

Watch: The Trusted Unveil "Wild Love" Music Video

Southend-on-Sea indie pop/rock four-piece The Trusted have unveiled the video for their latest single "Wild Love".

The song is part of our current playlist and came out earlier this month via The Orchardle. Grab it here.

"Wild Love" explores themes of rejecting the harsh realities of life and the current political and social upheavals we all face with a desire to run and hide from it all. Lead singer Tom Cunningham describes the track: ‘Wild Love is a song about leaving everything behind and running away with someone. It’s a song about finding a new place away from all the trouble and pain. We all kind of want to run away even if we don’t know where we are running.’ Of the band’s name singer Tom says ‘Its from a Nick Lowe penned song, which Elvis Costello had a hit with called 'What’s So Funny About Peace Love and Understanding' that has the lyrics, "So where are the strong And who are the trusted? And where is the harmony? Sweet harmony.’
