Watch: Baby Strange Unleash "Club Sabbath" Music Video

Glasgow indie rock/punk band Baby Strange have unleashed the video for their latest single "Club Sabbath".

The song is part of our current playlist and is taken from their forthcoming new EP ‘Land of Nothing’, which will be out on April 30 via Icons Creating Evil Art. Get it here.

Speaking about it, vocalist/guitarist Johnny Madden says: “When we wrote this track we instantly knew we wanted to name it after our club night. It sounds like it was made for a dancefloor. This is one of our favourite songs to date and we can’t wait for people to hear it.

"We’re missing Club Sabbath more than ever right now. We started it in 2015 at The Priory on Sauchiehall St in Glasgow and we’ve hosted some really memorable parties. It’s a community spirit with loads of like-minded people. We’ve had live performances or DJ sets from people like Fontaines D.C, Wolf Alice, DMA’s, The Chats, The Magic Gang, Nick Allbrook (Pond) and The Dunts, to name a few. The government needs to support independent venues during Covid or there will be nowhere left for new artists to cut their teeth and grow. It’s really important that small venues like The Priory survive through this for that very reason.”

Watch: Pom Pom Squad Share New Single/Video "LUX"

Brooklyn indie rock/riot grrrl/punk four-piece Pom Pom Squad have shared the video for their new single "LUX".

The song is out now via City Slang. Get it here.

“Lux” is a razor-sharp bite of cathartic punk that the band’s powerhouse frontperson Mia Berrin initially wrote at seventeen, while in the traumatic throes of her adolescent feminine awakening and realizing the ever-present gaze of the male patriarchy. With its namesake coming from the character in The Virgin Suicides (one of her favorite movies), the song is achingly vulnerable while delivering its message like a thrashing sonic sucker-punch.

James Announce New LP 'All The Colours of You', Stream Title Track

Manchester legends James have announced the release of their 16th studio album 'All The Colours of You'.

The result is a record with the most fresh and festival ready tracks of their 38-year career, the sound of one of Britain’s best bands, deconstructed and reassembled by one of the world’s most renowned producers.
