Toronto jangle pop band Ducks Ltd. have released the video for their new song "As Big As All Outside".
It is taken from the forthcoming expanded reissue of their EP 'Get Bleak', featuring three additional bonus tracks, “Oblivion,” “As Big As All Outside,” and “It’s Easy”, out May 21st through Carpark Records. Pre-order your copy here.
Whereas the original tracks on the EP demonstrate the debut stylings of Ducks Ltd., the bonus tracks on the album serve as indications of their music to come later on Carpark Records. Bringing the band’s characteristic restless bounce, thoughtful lyricism and penchant for orchestration, the tracks explore topics like troubled friendships (“It’s Easy”), self-destructive desires (“Oblivion”), and living with decline (“As Big As All Outside”) while maintaining the balance of earnest self-reflection and humor that endeared audiences to the original release.
Melbourne noise-folk/rock band Tiny Little Houses have dropped the video for their new single "Car Crash".

Of the track, the band explain:“‘camelot’ is an unashamed tribute to ‘the sesh’. a group of people have just been evicted with only 48hrs notice, leading them to have one last rager in order to forget about the stress of not finding a new home with such short notice. coming in at less than two minutes, the frenetic energy of the track sets the scene for total obliteration…”

Danish post-punk/guitar band Communions have unveiled their new single "Learn To Pray".
The song is taken from their upcoming sophomore album 'Pure Fabrication', set to arrive on April 23 via Tambourhinoceros. Pre-order your copy here.
Speaking about it Martin Rehoff says: “While some of the opening songs of Pure Fabrication deal with change, independence, and liberation — forces that allow one to fabricate one’s own destiny — Learn To Pray leans into the middle of the record, and hones in on an opposing theme; being anchored to the fabric of a social world. In a tragic and satirical tone, it tells a little story of a communal fall from grace in the midst of cultural decline. The song paints a somewhat dystopian picture, describing a world where preying and praying are two sides of the same coin; It’s just as much about the wheels set in motion that cause one to prey on one’s surroundings, as it’s about the mechanisms that lead one to pray, perhaps futilely, for a more utopian future.”
