Vincent Christ Airs New Single/Video "When Can I Be Good?"

London indie rock/new wave/glam/post-punk artist Vincent Christ has aired his new single "When Can I Be Good?" and its accompanying music video.

The song is taken from his upcoming EP 'Kil St. Clare', out in early August.

Combining an individualistic visual style with urgent and immediate songs, mysterious indie songwriter Vincent Christ is gaining notoriety for textured analogue music videos and irreverent songs that channel 70s and 80s new wave, glam and post-punk.

From Vincent: "The concept was to make a song that sounded like a 80s or 90s soap opera theme song. A rare excuse to play with synths."

Dendrons Release New Single/Video "New Outlook II"

Chicago-based post punk/alt band Dendrons have released the video for their new single "New Outlook II".

The song is taken from their forthcoming second full-length album '5-3-8', set to be released on August 26 via Innovative Leisure. Pre-order it here

"New Outlook II" finds the band tapping into some of their proggier sounds, taking from jungle influences and cutting this with a Krautrock sensibility. The song's lyrical refrains switch between “soon we’ll all be laughing too” and “Distance. Time. New outlook” pitting these around a quick bpm. "It is a continuation of themes explored on the preceding album track, “New Outlook,” explains Dane Jarvie of the band, "how trial and error, personal aesthetics, and every perceived achievement is reduced to comedy with enough passing time. How there is freedom in that. It’s about holding your life loosely."
