The song is part of our current playlist and is taken from their sophomore album "Nobody Realizes This Is Nowhere" out now on Slumberland Records.

Watch: Molly Nilsson Reveals Music Video For "The Power Ballad"

Swedish-born Berlin-based indie pop artist Molly Nilsson has revealed the video for her lovely new single "The Power Ballad".

The song is part of our current playlist and is taken from her fifth full-lenght 'The Travels', released back in May through Dark Skies Association/Night School. Grab your copy here.

Based loosely on Marco Polo's "Travel" and reading like a map of the protagonist’s geographical and inner journey, The Travels reveals new places and new emotions that are never the same to the beholder. Nilsson’s art is in turning this subjectivity into a cloak that almost anyone can do for the trip.

"'The Power Ballad' brings an endearing, sincerity to proceedings that also offers a tantalising question: can you be sceptical about love but still be bewitched?"

The black and white video was directed by by Caroline de Maeyer. Watch it below.
