Swedish indie-pop band Shout Out Louds have premiered their new single "In New Europe".
The song has been added to our current playlist and is out now. Grab it here.
About the track, the band said: "When we were going on our fall tour, we weren’t sure how much we would see of all the weirdness going on all over Europe right now. As a band on tour, we usually have the luxury of getting to exist in a protected little world of our own if we want. But just across the street from one of the clubs we played, there was a huge billboard shouting out kind of blatant racist propaganda from one of Europe’s big populist parties. Right outside a rock club we have played a thousand times. And it was completely untouched, no rips or scrawlings. We’re not done with our latest album or this world yet. Here is some new music.."
Birmingham baggy/psych band Ivory Wave have released the video for their latest single "Cool Kids".

Speaking about it, frontman George Johnson said: “It should be us who shape our own future as we will be the ones who are living it. It’s a celebration of being able to wear what you want, a celebration of being who you want to be and most importantly a celebration of youth.”
Glasgow noise pop/post-punk quartet The Ninth Wave have dropped their new single "Swallow Me".
The song is taken from their upcoming new EP 'Never Crave Attention', which will be out on April 20 via Distiller Records. Pre-order your copy here.
“‘Swallow Me’ is about being used and is based around an observation of a dysfunctional relationship and the damage caused,” say the band. “For the victim, the realisation of the situation they are in is hard to swallow.”
Seattle indie rock/punk trio Wimps have announced the release of their new album titled 'Garbage People'.
The band's third studio album will be out on July 13th via Kill Rock Stars.
Known all over as one of the premiere “plenty of nonsense” guitar/bass/drum groups, Garbage People finds Wimps taking a sonic leap forward (there’s saxophone, keyboard, and juuuust enough cowbell) and lyrically (subject matter ranges from gender pay inequality, decline of bee populations as a result of climate change, insomnia, and wanting to steal a pizza ... but only if it’s cheese!) On Garbage People, Wimps have successfully filtered the best parts of 70’s Rough Trade, the International Pop Underground 7” series, Devo, The B-52s, the Breeders, etc. into a unique and timeless sound that appeals to playlist streaming teens AND adults who own over 500 records.

Australia soft punk/indie rock band Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever have announced the release of their highly-anticipated debut album 'Hope Downs'.
The record "an undeniably rich and sophisticated collection of passionate guitar pop", is out Friday June 15 through Ivy League Records.
It was largely written over the past year in the band's Melbourne rehearsal room where their previous releases were also written and recorded. The band's core trio of songwriters— Fran Keaney, Joe White, and Tom Russo—hunkered down and wrote as the chaos of the world outside unavoidably seeped into the songwriting process. “We were feeling like we were in a moment where the sands were shifting and the world was getting a lot weirder. There was a general sense that things were coming apart at the seams and people around us were too”. Russo explains. “The songs on this album are like a collection of postcards about wider things that were going on through the lens of these small characters.”
