Watch: Adwaith Air New Single/Video "Wedi Blino"

Carmarthen post rock/post punk band Adwaith have aired the video for their new single "Wedi Blino".

Following on from the soaring melodies of euphoric opening single 'ETO', latest cut 'Wedi Blino' cranks up the fuzz and digs deeper into the anxieties of your early 20's. Their eagerly anticipated sophomore album Bato Mato, due 1st July via Libertino.

"We wanted to create a big indie pop song that has a melancholy feel to it" say the band. "It's about being worried that life is going too fast or the worries of a relationship, the overwhelming feeling that you're not good enough and that you are the reason things aren't working out."

Stream both tracks below.

Watch: Young Guv Releases New Single/Video "Nowhere At All"

Canadian pop/rock artist Ben Cook aka Young Guv has released his new single "Nowhere At All", alongside an accompanying music video.

The song is taken from his forthcoming second full-length album 'GUV IV', out on June 24th via Run For Cover Records and via Hand Drawn Dracula (Canada). Pre-order your copy here.

Written entirely in the Sangre de Cristo mountain range of New Mexico following a cancelled tour in the spring of 2020, the songs on GUV IV range in the way that only a Young Guv record can - from Laurel Canyon jangle to British Invasion blues-pop to AM-radio Americana to the mildly sleazy electro pop on a song-by-song basis. But at its core, GUV IV is a collection of songs dedicated and testifying to the eternal healing power of love.

The Lounge Society Announce Debut LP 'Tired of Liberty', Stream "Blood Money"

Calder Valley based post punk/psych band The Lounge Society have announced the release of their highly-anticipated debut album 'Tired of Liberty'.

The 11-track recor was produced by SW boss and revered producer Dan Carey (Wet Leg, Kae Tempest, Fontaines D.C.) and will be out on August 26 through Speedy Wundergound. Pre-order it here.

Recorded over two weeks in November 2021, Tired of Liberty is a stunningly ubiquitous snapshot of instrumental meltdown, and timeless adolescence. Keen to uphold the manipulated elasticity of a recorded event, the majority of the eleven tracks that make up the record (with the exception of ‘Generation Game’, which saw its beginnings as part of the Speedy Wunderground 7” series, and was subsequently re-recorded), were written either just before, or throughout the duration of those fortnight sessions.

A rarity for most bands, The Lounge Society functions best as a collective entity. With no core-leader, everything from the sources of inspiration, to the lyrics themselves, is handled collaboratively, and with equal merit; as they strive to create a self-sufficient creative unit, larger than the individual. Far from a documentation of disenfranchised youth, Tired of Liberty seeks to overthrow with striking articulation. Stirringly fearless, it masterfully combines archetypal storytelling, with as many disparate principles as introspectively possible; capturing the aural shifts in time and attitudes between ‘Generation Game’, and where we join The Lounge Society now.

Whether its personal growth, banded maturity, or a hearty combination of the two, Tired of Liberty is an expertly captured documentation of four young-adults, at the baptism of their cultural-ignition. After all, you only get one opportunity at a debut record. “Anything that follows, is just an evolution from that.”- The Lounge Society.

Check out the album's tracklist and watch the video for new single "Blood Money" below.
