Watch: Dream Dali Share New Single/Video "Little Lights"

Brisbane dark wave/psych band Dream Dali have shared the video for their catchy new single "Little Lights".

The song will be out tomorrow (August 30), and "comes from a personal experience in dealing with a challenging and dark time with a relationship," says lead vocalist Aldous Emerson. "Lots of allegedly supernatural things were happening that caused a lot of issues with anxiety and trauma, but I always had hope. The Little Lights are the hope.”

UPDATE 02/09/2019: "Little Lights" is our new Single of the Week!

The video pays homage to the group's namesake Salvador Dali. “The dada footage seemed to work well with the song’s theme and Dream Dali’s aesthetic,” explains Aldous. “We like how surrealism explores subconscious thought and deep emotions that can sometimes seem dark, but when looking into them can actually cause healing, especially with the expression of art and music."

The song is taken from his upcoming third studio album 'Bigger Than Life', which will be out on October 25th through Sacred Bones Records. Pre-order it here.

The video was directed by Izrayl Brinsdon, who explains: " 'Feels' is a reflection of past trauma triggered by space and place. Physical objects transcend time and present an intangible past to the subject. The use of real VHS footage from family archives establishes a source of nostalgia that is honest and without fabrication. While conversing with Black Marble, it became evident that the lyrical and visual narratives were cohesive. Combined, the audience is left with a farewell note to the past. No matter how vivid a memory, we must all keep moving forward.
