Watch: She's In Parties Release New Single/Video "Angelic"

Essex-based dreampop/shoegaze band
She's In Parties have released the video for their dreamy new single "Angelic".

Speaking about it, lead singer Katie Dillon says: “I started with a melody, and as I was singing, the lyrics were just sort of coming out. Usually this happens because there is a theme going on in my life or others around me. I started with the lyric 'my soul’s washed away on this planet', and then 'lucky for you, you’re so manly' and it started to become a song about how women can be disrespected and treated quite badly...”

Watch: Courting Unleash Music Video For "Tennis"

Liverpool post punk band Courting have unleashed the video for their latest single "Tennis".

The song, produced by GRAMMY-nominated James Dring (Gorillaz, Jamie T, Sorry, Lana Del Rey, Blur, Loyle Carner) is part of our current playlist and came out earlier this month through Nice Swan Records. Grab it  here.

Speaking about it, the band explained: “Tennis is a paypig’s personal redemption narrative, set in “the city”, and told in two parts. A twisted tale of two lovers’ back and forth, bound by cricket, bodybuilding, and money. A story as old as time.

We named the song Tennis as a logical (but unrelated) sequel to our two previously released sports-related songs. To us, this felt like a natural ending to that idea. Dynamically, the second part of the song is supposed to represent a shift in tone for the character in which they realise their own worth and leave the situation that is set within the first part of the song.”

Watch: Screensaver Unveil Music Video For "Clean Current"

Aussie post punk/synth wave band screensaver have unveiled the video their latest single "Clean Current".

The song is part of our current playlist and came out as double A-side single 'Clean Current/Repeats', earlier this month through Upset The Rhythm. Grab it here.

Clean Current is a burst of high-energy: nervy guitars and groovy base underpinned with krautrock drums and cosmic synth noise, overlayed with delay heavy vocals. Repeats is the flipside of the coin, a moody post-punk stomper, led by gritty saw tooth synth, chorus-soaked guitar, textural percussion and soaring vocals. Lyrically Clean Current spits out retorts aimed at the engulfing nature of anxiety whilst Repeats critiques the repetition of modern life, languishing human existence.

Clean Current nods it’s head to likes of Snapper and 80s Flying Nun bands whilst Repeats owes it origins more to the progenitors of goth-rock.

New Entry: Unschooling Air New Single "Shopping On The Left Bank"

French indie rock/lo-fi/post punk band Unschooling have aired their new single "Shopping On The Left Bank".

The song is out today,  April 20 via Fuzz Club imprint Bad Vibrations Records. Get your copy here.

Unschooling’s brand of energetic post-punk is one that revels in calculated discord. Their chaotic ensemble of complex mathy guitar lines, dissatisfied vocals and twitchy rhythm sections have drawn comparisons to such contemporaries as Omni, Crack Cloud and Women, but all wrapped up in a Contortions-esque No Wave spontaneity.
