Watch: Love in Prague Reveal Music Video For "Before The End"

French cold wave/post punk band Love in Prague have revealed the video for their latest single "Before The End".

The song is taken from their fourth studio album ‘The Same Place‘, released last month (May 6th)  on Off World Music. Buy it here.

Let's not be fooled by the title of the newest album - The Same Place. Certainly, it should not be taken as a suggestion that the musicians have stopped at a certain point and are not boldly looking to the future while composing new material. It is rather a clear signal that Chloe and Benoit remain faithful to their own, original and recognizable style, which has distinguished the work of Love in Prague from the very beginning, against the background of many groups using post-punk, shoegaze, or cold and new wave styles. .

The band's faithful fans will once again be able to plunge into what so captivates in the music of Love in Prague, into a soft, ethereal and melancholic space. It will be an unforgettable experience for all those who will use the duo's work for the first time. Discovering in a unique way, with the help of a small instrumentarium, two musicians release a cornucopia of sounds. It proves that real art is born somewhere deep in a person, in the mind, as a result of ability and sensitivity. French musicians prove it with every track from The Same Place. The cool, mesmerizing line of Chloe's bass guitar, minimalist, delicate ornaments flowing from the synthesizer, balancing between joy and sadness, the guitar perfectly harmonize with Benoit's ascetic, but how melancholic singing. All these sounds and words are a perfect relationship, perfect, like true, sincere and exceptional love… love - Love in Prague.

Watch: TV Priest Share Visuals For "It Was A Gift"

London post punk/punk band TV Priest have shared visuals for "It Was A Gift".

The song taken from their brand new album 'My Other People', out today, June 17 via Sub Pop Records. Grab your copy here.

“My Other People is a more “open’” set of songs, both musically and in our themes; in the process of writing we found ourselves talking about things other than anger or aggression. We wanted to discuss love, loss and joy too,” frontman Charlie Drinkwater said of the album. “It’s a record about personal disintegration and destruction, but also rebuilding again after this. It’s also heavily rooted in place, the music being a very direct response to Britain and England in 2021, but in a more abstract and textural sense.

“A muddy field viewed from a train window between cities, a patch of wild flowers growing next to a motorway, sticky carpets in a suburban flat roof pub, pissing rain on an August bank holiday and the smell of diesel in an out of town supermarket car park. An angry, hopeful, shitty, beautiful island.”

Watch: Idle Youth Air New Single/Video "Disconnect"

London dream pop/indie pop band Idle Youth have aired the video for their new single "Disconnect".

Disconnect, is an energetic yet chilled synth pop song that spans new wave, post punk and all things 80’s, whilst remaining present day. Mastered By legendary engineer Noel Summerville, Disconnect lyrically discusses our over-reliance on technology and it’s inevitable knock on effects to our relationships with the world.

Inspired by Fyodor Dostoyevski’s ‘The Brothers Karamazov’, questions of reality and free will are questioned. A dream pop feel runs ever present through the song, musically and lyrically.

"The mystery of human existence lies not in just staying alive, but in finding something to live for. I can see the sun, but even if I cannot see the sun, I know that it exists. And to know that the sun is there - that is living." — Dostoyevski

The song is out today (June 17) through Oso Polita Records and is taken from their forthcoming new album. Get it here.

The band said that I Quit, whose initial reference was The Slits, «was acquiring a darker tone as elements were added, especially the guitars, and ended up approaching more 90's terrain , without the seventies base being easily intuited». The result is a mix of debauchery and anxiety, party and hangover, Donna Summer and Nine Inch Nails, perfectly illustrating the emotional rollercoaster the lyrics speak of.
