The Saturnettes Reveal New Album Artwork & Tracklist

Finland indie-pop band The Saturnettes have revealed more details for their upcoming sophomore album 'The Saturnettes Vol. 2', which will drop late this year (the exact release date is TBA).

The follow up to the band's 2011 eponymous debut, will feature 8 tracks including the already unveiled songs "Someway", "Bob From The Cure" and "Just Beacause",  which are part of our current playlist www.koolrockradio.com.

Arctic Monkeys To Release New Album 'AM' In September

Sheffield four-piece Arctic Monkeys have announced that their upcoming fifth studio album will be titled 'AM' and released on September 9.

The band made the announcement today on their official Facebook page, revealing also the full tracklisting.

The album, recorded at Sage & Sound Recording, LA, and Rancho De La Luna, Joshua Tree, was produced by Simian Mobile Disco's James Ford, and features appearances from Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme, as well as former The Coral member Bill Ryder-Jones and Elvis Costello's drummer Pete Thomas. Lyrics by the iconic punk poet John Cooper Clarke appear on the track 'I Wanna Be Yours'.

Nine Inch Nails Reveal New Album 'Hesitation Marks' Tracklist

Nine Inch Nails have revealed the tracklist and list of contributing musicians featured on their upcoming  album 'Hesitation Marks'. 

According to Rolling Stone, Trent Reznor was joined in the studio by Fleetwood Mac’s Lindsey Buckingham, King Crimson's Adrian Belew, and bassist Pino Palladino (The Who, D’Angelo), in addition to current band members Alessandro Cortini, Ilan Rubin, and Joshua Eustis.

The album was co-produced by Reznor alongside with frequent collaborators Atticus Ross and Alan Moulder, and will be out on September 3rd via Columbia Records.

Placebo Reveal "Loud Like Love" Tracklist, Announce New Single

Placebo have revealed the tracklist for their upcoming seventh studio album "Loud Like Love", which is due for release on  September 16.

The 10-track album was produced by Adam Noble and recorded in London's RAK Studios and is the follow-up to 2009's 'Battle For The Sun'. Check a teaser video for the album here

The band have also announced that the the first single will be 'Too Many Friends', released on July 9. Recently, the band flew to Los Angeles to film the video for the single, directed by Saman Keshavarz which will be premiered in a few weeks.

Goldfrapp To Release New Album 'Tales Of Us' In September

Electronic duo Goldfrapp have announced they will release their brand new album titled 'Tales Of Us' on September 9 via Mute Records.

This is the pair sixth album and the follow-up to 2010's Head First. Information on their website tells that the band have "taken a turn for the noir" and are pursuing a more acoustic direction, with Alison Goldfrapp saying: “I'm drawn more and more to the intimacy and simplicity of the voice & guitar.”

“When you’re relaxed and confident you can excavate places you may not have dared go before [...] I am interested in horror, psychologically. Not blood and guts. That’s too literal. I like the horror of the mind.” She adds.

Travis Reveal New Album 'Where You Stand' Artwork and Tracklist

Travis have revealed the artwork and full tracklist for their upcoming seventh studio album 'Where You Stand', which is due out on August 19, through their own label Red Telephone Box.

The album features 11 tracks and was written and recorder in London, Norway and New York, while the band then decamped to Berlin's Hansa Studios for production. 

About the band's break from music, bassist Dougie Payne said:  "You stay away as long as it takes, so you feel that hunger and desire to get back to it same as you did at the start."
