British Columbia glam-rocker Art d'Ecco has revealed the video for new single "I’ll Never Give You Up".

“Sonically it’s another ode to the early ’80s,” he shares, “tracked with analogue synths and live drumming (courtesy of Jeff Mitchelmore from Gold & Youth), we recorded with producer Colin Stewart at his Hive Studios last summer.” It’s a beat-heavy track as reminiscent of The Human League as it is of contemporaries Drab Majesty, marked by ambiguously nostalgic lyrics. “I honestly can’t remember what it’s about lyrically—a ghost from the past? The pursuit of times that were, or could have been?”

From the band: "We began writing it in the middle of a drought — in California & in our creative process. For weeks, it seemed we were just spinning our wheels, waiting for the sun to come. We wish to control everything before we simply choose to notice anything.
