Vocalist Keira McGuire says that the video inspiration came from the lyrics which describe “what seems like an inescapable society of delusion and a dark element of mystery, we thought a suitable place to represent this was a dusky desert, portraying the emptiness and loneliness.”

New Entry: Juliper Sky Premiere Debut Single "Heaven"

Manchester dream pop/psych/indie five-piece Juliper Sky have premiered their debut single "Heaven".

The song was produced by James Kenosha (Rhodes, Dry The River, Dinosaur Pile Up) and recorded at Vibe studios in Manchester. Musically, ’Heaven’ marries elements of Shoegaze, Dream Pop and Psychedelia, amidst walls of shimmering synths and reverb-laden guitars that have come to represent the key elements of Juliper Sky’s sound.

The band consist of lead vocalist Jamie Lambert, former AFFAIRS guitarists Dan Parker and Liam Grindell, bassist Roger Damen and drummer Ben Pursehouse.

Watch: Too Much Air Music Video For Debut Single "Patent Leather"

Washington dance/rock duo Too Much, comprise of Ian Svenonius (Escape-ism, The Make-Up, Chain and the Gang) and producer/multi-instrumentalist Rich Morel, have unleashed the video for their debut single "Patent Leather".

The 7" single b/w "Dyslexia," will be out on July 12th through Merge Records. "It is dance, it is rock ’n’ roll, it perfectly distills everything Rich and Ian ever liked or wanted from music."

“Patent Leather” is a love song of pure self-absorption and, simultaneously, absolute devotion. “Dyslexia” is a feeling of alienation and confusion about the bogus values of the steroid state. These songs present “tech noir,” a new dance genre, for the first time.

New Entry: Sistertalk Unleash Debut Single "Vitriol"

London art rock band Sistertalk have unleashed their debut single "Vitriol".

The song was written and recorded by the band and is released today (February 8) via Family Portrait.

Speaking about it, frontman Gabriel Levy said: “Before we started this band, I wanted to write something from the perspective of the jaded performer - someone who’s tired of folded arms, half-empty rooms and mid-set walks to the bar. What that says about my relationship with music prior to this project is uncertain, but it ended up imagined as someone’s very public onstage tirade against an industry which isn’t even present to hear him babble. I didn’t anticipate that it would be the catalyst I needed to form Sistertalk.”
