Watch: Aldo Reveal New Single/Video "Restless Animal"

Brazilian indietronic/disco/punk duo Aldo have revealed the video for their new single "Restless Animal".

The song is out today (April 16) via UK label Full Time Hobby. Get it here.

Their words: "When you are in São Paulo for a long time, you see people having all kinds of urban-tech-pollution-traffic-mental-disturbances (including us), and don't even realise it. When we were writing this song, we isolated ourselves for 10 days in the middle of São Paulo’s downtown near where we grew up. We rented a loft at Praça da República, brought all our synths, pedals and instruments and started a daily routine - writing all day, dinner and drinks, then writing all night. We started writing about the people we saw from our balcony and we breathed in the polluted air of São Paulo."

Brazilian indietronic/disco/punk duo Aldo have unleashed the video for their new single "Trembling Eyelids".

ALDO was formed by the Faria brothers in honour of their Uncle Aldo. A once wayward character, Aldo lived an edgy lifestyle in 1990’s Brazil. He would take the young boys on journeys into São Paulo’s dark underbelly introducing them to scenes of illegal car racing, suspicious back-alley negotiations, football gang violence and carnival parties, all drenched in alcohol.

Panama Release Brand New EP 'Always'

Sydney based indie electronic band Panama surprised fans this morning (October 3) with the release of a brand new three-track EP titled 'Always'.

Fronted by Perth-born songwriter and classically-trained pianist, Jarrah McCleary, Panama's sophomore EP leads with the anthemic title track "Always", which was recorded in San Francisco and produced by Eric Broucek (!!!, Classixx, Holy Ghost!, Hercules & Love Affair). 

The self-produced second track "How We Feel" was recorded at McCleary’s home studio and explores Panama’s unique brand of hopeful house music. The EP closes out with the Drive soundtrack inspired dark horse, "Destroyer", also recorded in the sessions with Broucek. 

For a limited time, the EP is available digitally on Bandcamp, where fans can pay what they choose. It will also be available on vinyl through the Future Classic store.
