Gabe Gurnsey Announces New LP 'Diablo', Drops "Push"

London based DJ/producer/songwriter Gabe Gurnsey has announced the release of his sophomore album 'Diablo'. 

The follow-up to 2018's debut Physical, will be released on the 9th September. Pre-order your copy here. 

'Diablo' is a place of giddy echoes, 808 boings, sexy-menacing vocals and soft throbs, with lyrics full of pleasure and desire; like proper rave lyrics, they are in turn filthy, grandiose, devotional, and cryptic. A record with a city-edge heard on every track, most of them pure dancefloor fire. Influenced by Detroit techno, deep house, electro and artists including Peaches, Suicide and Eurythmics.

Gurnsey has also dropped the video for the album's lead single and opening track “Push".

Combining the tectonic sleaze of ‘I Get’ with the roll call to rave transcendence of ‘Harder Rhythm’, Gurnsey creates, naturally, ‘I Get Harder’. Mutating his work to further perfect his halcyon club sound, ‘I Get Harder’ releases a slow-crawl ecstasy for dark rooms and open minds, not for the faint hearted. Get it here.

Watch: Gabe Gurnsey Reveals "You Can" Music Video

London based DJ/producer/songwriter Gabe Gurnsey has revealed the video for his current single "You Can".

The song is taken from his latest record 'Physical' out now via Phantasy. An extended version of ‘You Can’ will be released on 12” vinyl with a remix by The Hacker on 26 October on Phantasy. Pre-order the new 12” here. 

Shot at Manchester’s Soup Kitchen and directed by Nate Camponi, the video fulfils this fantasy through a haze of cigarette smoke and nubile bodies on the dance-floor.
