Watch: Cub Sport Release Music Video For "Paradise"

Brisbane's indie pop band Cub Sport, formerly known as Cub Scouts, have revealed the video for "Paradise", taken from the new EP of the same name, out now.

The song is part of our current playlist www.koolrockradio.com. Get you copy of the Paradise EP now on iTunes.

It is their first official released under their new name. About the new changes, Cub Sport singer Tim Nelson said: "It is a shame to lose the name we've worked so hard over the last few years building, but as we make our inroads to the US and UK markets, it’s important that we make the change now. We’re pretty positive about it all to be honest. The new name sounds so cool it needs a racing stripe and for our fans, we continue to be and will always be the Cubbies."

The video was directed by Sam Rogers Watch it below.

Single of the Week August 26/2013: Risk Risk "Heartbeat"

This week's Single of the Week on koolrockradio.com is "Heartbeat", another great cut by German minimal synth-pop project Risk Risk (aka our good friend Stefan K.).

Heartbeat is actually a lost track that was NOT on Risk Risk great debut album 'This is 1983', but it was intended to, and just as all the tracks from that album,  it's a brilliant 80s synth oriented tune.

Risk Risk's new album is almost finished, and Stefan is currently looking for a new label to release it. We'll keep you posted as more details on the record surface.

Have a listen to the demo version of 'Heartbeat' below.

Watch: Cosmonauts Share Music Video For "What Me Worry"

California indie rock band Cosmonauts have shared the video for "What Me Worry".

The song is part of our current playlist and is taken from their just released third studio album, 'Persona Non Grata', out via burger Records. Get you copy here.

Formed in 2009 by Alexander Ahmadi & Derek Cowart, Cosmonauts offer a glimpse of drug-addled Southern Californian rock n roll in the 21st century. Inspired in equal parts by polo-shirts and MDMA, this garage-trance outfit has garnered a reputation of amps dialed to ten and lullaby meltdowns with both audiences and contemporaries, supporting acts such as The Growlers, The Black Angels, Ty Segall, Thee Oh Sees, The Beach Fossils & more.
