Sunflower Bean Announce New LP 'TwentyTwo In Blue', Stream "Crisis Fest"

Brooklyn based psychedelic band Sunflower Bean have announced they will release their sophomore album titled 'TwentyTwo In Blue'.

The follow-up to 2016's debut Human Ceremony, was co-produced by Unknown Mortal Orchestra’s Jacob Portrait and Matt Molnar of the band Friends, and will be out on out March 23 via Mom+Pop Records.

Speaking about the new single "Crisis Fest", the band explained" This last year was extremely alarming, traumatic and politically volatile. While writing this album, we often reflected back on the people we met while on tour. We felt a strong kinship with the audiences that came to see us all over the country, and we wanted to write a song for them—something to capture the anxieties of an uncertain future. Crisis Fest is less about politics and more about the power of us, the young people in this country.

Sunflower Bean Announce Debut LP 'Human Ceremony', Share "Wall Watcher"

Brooklyn based psychedelic band Sunflower Bean have announced they will release their debut full-length 'Human Ceremony' on February 5th via Fat Possum Records.

Speaking about the record, the band told Fader: "We spent a lot of time and put a lot of love into writing and recording this album and are excited to share this first glimpse with you," the band added. "First albums are really special things in bands career and we are blessed to have your attention right now. One million thank yous to everyone who helped us put it together and supported us so far.”
