New Entry: The Mary Onettes Premiere New Single "What I Feel in Some Places"

Swedish dream-pop quartet The Mary Onettes have premiered their new single "What I Feel in Some Places".

The song, is the title cut of their upcoming EP, set to arribe on July 1st via Welfare Sounds & Records. Grab it here.

The band’s Philip Ekström states in a press release: “‘What I Feel In Some Places’ was one of the first songs we experimented with when we wanted to explore the direction for the new album. We had some idea to take inspiration from Peter Gabriel’s typical ’80s rhythms and let it blend with the more dreamy The Mary Onettes landscapes.

New Entry: The Mary Onettes Return With New Single "Cola Falls"

Swedish dream-pop quartet The Mary Onettes have returned with their new catchy single "Cola Falls".

The song, is the title cut of their new double a-side single "Cola Falls / Wait Out A Ghost", out June 22 on Cascine.

Frontman Philip Ekström says that 'Cola Falls' conjures the “high, relentless sound of running water” bubbling forth from a waterfall in his hometown — a waterfall that, as a kid, he imagined flowing with soda.

The Mary Onettes Announce Mini Album 'Portico', Stream New Track "Silence Is A Gun"

Swedish quartet The Mary Onettes they will release a new mini-album titled 'Portico'.

The follow up to last year's Hit the Waves, will be out on March 4 via Labrador Records, and features seven songs heavily inspired  by science fiction.

"We wanted to create a scenario to fit with the songs, so we decided it could be a journey into space. A silent hunt for something else. We always end up seeing our albums as small films. And Portico: would definitely be our little space saga. It's a bit of a spiritual album. I want to get connected to nothingness," says Philip Ekström.
