British indie pop duo Wings of Desire (the new project of INHEAVEN’s James Taylor and Chloe Little) have premiered the video for their new single "Choose A Life".

The song is out today (June 29) and is taken from their upcoming new EP 'Amun-Ra', aet to arrive on 13th August via WMD Recordings. Get it here.

From the duo: “‘Choose A Life’ is about our automated programming which convinced us that once we get ‘there’ we will be happy. That once we’ve acquired the material check list we will be fulfilled, but this is never the case. The song explores finding joy in the smaller moments of the everyday, the mundane, those micro expressions that we take for granted. And realising that you don’t have to bend the world to make your mark. That it’s better to just enjoy it.”

From the duo: "In the west, we are ingrained to think getting older is a bad thing. In the east ageing is championed and seen as an opportunity to gain great insight and wisdom. The song is about letting go and allowing time to take you on a grand journey of self discovery, and finding empowerment in all the life experience one has gained. We need to find the transcendent in a world rooted in constant change and destruction. Otherwise we risk being washed ashore."

British indie pop duo Wings of Desire (the new project of INHEAVEN’s James Taylor and Chloe Little) have premiered the video for their new single "Chance Of A Lifetime".

The song "a statement of intent, a snap shot of a world in flux" is the lead track from their just released debut EP 'End Of An Age'. Get your copy here.

The EP is an uplifting look at human consciousness at a time when we’re all going through a period of mass-reflection. It embodies that 'sliding doors' feeling that our lives are just a series of predetermined events, and it’s up to us change direction. We are yearning for something deeper, wanting to jump off the conveyor belt of life and prepare ourselves for the uncomfortable truth that we’ve never truly known what it is to live." 

"We are not claiming to have the answer, but if we can inspire a conversation or spark the listeners imagination then we are one step closer to the realisation that there is much more to living than we can consider tangible."

Watch: Spring King Unleash Music Video For "City"

Manchester indie rockers Spring King have unleashed the video for their newest single "City".

The song is part of our current playlsit ans is taken from their frothcoming new EP 'They're Coming After You', set to be released on April 20th via Handsome Dad Records. Pre-order  your copy here.

The video was directed by Chloe Little, who explains: "The concept was primarily inspired by the Alan Sillitoe short story ‘The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner’, but through a few nods to Patty Hearst and Gloria Steinhem it soon became known by it’s working title ‘The Loneliness of the Feminist Bank Robber’. I wanted to capture the confusion of belief and action through this sort of weird choreographed psychedelia, where our character desperately wants to follow through with what she thinks she believes in, but is in some constant internal battle between how she looks, how she feels and what she really wants."
