New Entry: Ski Lodge Premieres New Single "My Friend"

New York indie pop/new wave musician Ski Lodge has premiered his excellent new single "My Friend".

About the track Andrew Marr posted: "I wrote the majority of it quite a while back so its nice to finally be putting it out into the world. This song is dedicated to a dear friend of mine that I lost almost exactly 11 years ago today. Miss you "

New Entry: Ski Lodge Reveal New Single "Trust"

Brooklyn-based indie pop band Ski Lodge have revealed their brand new summery single "Trust".

The 7" single b/w 'Our Love Is Over Now', will be out on February 23, pre-order your copy here. All pre-orders will receive an instant download link for the track & a link to download the full 3 track digital EP version on release day, which includes a special Remix of "Trust".

About the track, singer-songwriter Andrew Marr, says: "It had a certain pulse and throbbing to it and made me think about lust and desire, which we're pleased to premiere here at Interview. "It inspired me to write about that feeling when you just want to give yourself to someone completely, and about the questions and frustrations that come along with it."

Watch: Ski Lodge Reveal New Video For "Looking For A Change"

Brooklyn-based indie pop band Ski Lodge have revealed the video for "Looking For A Change".

The song is part of our current playlist and is taken from the band's debut album 'Big Heart', released back in August via Dovecote Records. 

The video was Filmed by Ski Lodge and features footage of the band's West Coast tour earlier this year with Chad Valley.

Single of the Week September 02/13: Ski Lodge "Down On This Southern Tip"

Our new Single of The Week is "Down On This Southern Tip", taken from Brooklyn-based indie pop band Ski Lodge (aka multi-instrumentalist singer-songwitter Andrew Marr), recently released debut album 'Big Heart', out via Dovecote Records.

The record was made in Los Angeles with producer Louis Pescov (of Fool's Gold), who produced Best Coast's debut. with the exception of lead single ‘Just To Be Like You’ - entirely written and recorded by

"Down on this Southern Tip" has a fitful energy with crashing piano chords and guitar licks, offering a warm, summery catchy tune.

Watch: Ski Lodge Unveil New Video For "Boy"

Brooklyn-based indie pop band Ski Lodge have unveiled the video for "Boy", taken from their upcoming debut album 'Big Heart' out on August 20th via Dovecote Records.

The song is part of our current playlist www.koolrockradio.com.

About the song, frontman Andrew Marr said: "I guess for me the song is about feeling trapped and feeling like a total victim of circumstance. Whether it's in a relationship, or in a city, or a job. Just like, 'I’m dying, get me the fuck out of this place, it's not my fault I’m here.'"
