NYPC (New Young Pony Club) To Release New Album in October

London duo (formerly a five-piece) New Young Pony Club have announce they will released their third studio album in October, now under the name of NYPC.

NYPC consist now of frontwoman Tahita Bulmer and multi-instrumentalist Andy Spence. A statement in a press release reads:

"It feels like a new band in one way. Ty and I had been writing for at least a year or more before anyone else had ever entered the frame – the majority of [debut album] ‘Fantastic Playroom’ had already been written and recorded with just us. So it feels like we've just come back to the honest position where we've started."

NYPC will follow up their 2010's effort The Optimist with a self-titled LP released on 7 October. This will be preceded by single "Hard Knocks", which will be out on August 12th, have a listen below.

Watch: Astral Pattern Unveil New Video For "Faraway"

London dream pop band Astral Pattern have unveiled the video for "Faraway", the new single taken from their just released debut EP 'Light Poems', out via 37 Adventures. The song is part of our current playlist www.koolrockradio.com.

After the split of their previous band SCUM, and following a particularly inspiring trip to Dusseldorf to see their favourite band 'Kraftwerk' play a homecoming show, Astral Pattern formed in early 2013.
