Vampire Weekend have unveiled the video for "Diane Young", taken from their recently released new album 'Modern Vampires of the City', out via XL Recordings. 

The video, directed by Primo Kahn, features guest appearances of Sky Ferreira, Dirty Projectors’ Dave Longstreth, Chromeo’s P-Thugg and Dave1, Santigold, The Walkmen’s Hamilton Leithauser as well as a cameo from the director himself. Watch it below.

Vampire Weekend Reveal Details Of New Album 'Modern Vampires of the City'

Vampire Weekend have confirmed that the title for their forthcoming new album is 'Modern Vampires of the City', and comes out on May 6 (UK) / May 7 (US) via XL Recordings. 

The follow-up to the band's 2011 LP Contra, was revealed in the "Notices & Lost and Found" section of today's New York Times classified ads. The advertisement shows the message “Modern Vampires of the City, May 7, 2013.” 

The band have also revealed the artwork and tracklist of Modern Vampires Of The City. In addition to the album details, Vampire Weekend has also set dates for an upcoming tour. Check all the details below.

Vampire Weekend To Release New Album In May

Vampire Weekend have announced via their website, that they will release their third studio album May 6th through XL Recordings.  

Produced by Ariel Rechtshaid (Major Lazer, Charli XCX) and the band’s own Rostam Batmanglij, the as-yet-titled was recorded in both New York City and Los Angeles.

In a recent interview, frontman Ezra Koenig called their latest effort 'dark', 'organic', and that it "really does feel like the third chapter in a book." 

"We created some characters on the first record, some of which are real people, some of which are ourselves, so it’s not so hard to keep following them and see what their concerns are now and how their lives have changed." He added.

Vampire Weekend last album 'Contra' was released in 2010.
