Watch: VLURE Air New Single/Video "I Won't Run (From Love)"

Glasgow post punk/synth/electronic five-piece VLURE have aired their new single "I Won't Run (From Love)", alongside an accompanying music video.

The song is taken from their forthcoming debut EP 'Euphoria', which will be out on January 14 through So Young Records. Pre-order it here.

From the band: “In order to have the wonderful people we know in our lives, we first have to learn to become vulnerable. This isn’t something that is inherently natural, we are animals at our core, or have been hurt in our past. If or when the time comes; instead of fighting the feeling, we stand our ground and let barriers fall, there’s something beautiful about the trust we have in one and other to allow friendships, partnerships and all other relationships flourish. It may come with age. It may come through growth. It’ll always be there, the chance of being hurt. Without that we will not truly feel alive.”

From the band: "Heartbeat starts on the tips of your fingers and soles of your feet. A faint pulsing energy as the anticipation builds, it’s warm and the dense air adds to the atmosphere. Condensation blurs and streaks the light, you only catch snippets of movements when silhouettes briefly light up to show you the full figure. You do not want the night to end. Take it all in. This is opulence, this is escapism."

From the band "This is a song about hope and looking forward. It’s for all of us regaining our footing when chaos, uncertainty and insecurity is all that’s become known to us over the past eighteen months. We find ourselves violently thrust back into the youthful abandon of dancehalls, gaffs, smoking areas and basement venues as if nothing had ever changed, and never will again. This is a love song for reclaiming the lost nights, and for the loved ones who helped you through them. To brighter days. At the end we must begin again."
