Watch: Starcrawler Reveal New Song/Video "Goodtime Girl"

Los Angeles rock n' roll band Starcrawler have revealed their new single "Goodtime Girl", alongside an accompanying music video.

The song features on the soundtrack to 'Dark Nights: Death Metal', an epic DC Comics miniseries featuring Wonder Woman, Batman, Superman, Harley Quinn, Swamp Thing, the Batman Who Laughs, Superboy-Prime, and many others. Get it here.

“When people listen to Goodtime Girl, I want them to feel powerful. I want a girl who might normally feel like she’s awkward or insecure to put her headphones on and feel like she can accomplish anything,” Arrow de Wilde said of the song. “Like she’s the hottest and the baddest bitch in the world, because she is. Goodtime girl is about realizing your power and taking complete control of that. I wish I had a song like this when I was in middle or high school, if I did I may have been a lot more confident with myself at the time.”

The video, featuring cameos from Danny Trejo and David Hasselhoff was directed by Gilbert Trejo. Watch it below.

Starcrawler Announce New LP 'Devour You', Air "Bet My Brains" Video

Los Angeles rock n' roll band Starcrawler have announced their sophomore album 'Devour You'.

The follow-up to 2018's self -tiled debut will be out on October 11 via Rough Trade Records. Pre-order your copy here.

According to the press release, Devour You is a record that dynamically captures the essence and aggression of their gloriously unhinged live shows. Produced by Nick Launay (Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, L7) at Sunset Studios, Devour You takes the feral intensity of their 2018 self-titled debut and twists it into something grander and more gracefully composed.

With its more elaborate and nuanced yet harder-hitting sonic palette, the result is a selection of songs radiating both raw sensitivity and untamable power, and a record that the band’s Arrow de Wilde says, “encapsulates all the blood, sweat, bruised knees, and broken fingers of a Starcrawler show.”.

The band have also shared their new single "Bet My Brains", produced by Nick Launay (Nick Cave, YYYs, Arctic Monkeys), 'it distills Starcrawler down to its essence with a massive guitar riff, rollicking drums and a wide screen performance by Arrow de Wilde that illustrates just how ready this band is to explode into the mainstream.

Starcrawler Announced Debut Album, Air Music Video For "I Love LA"

Los Angeles rock n' roll band Starcrawler have announced the release of their self-titled debut album.

Recorded by Ryan Adams on analog tape at his Pax-Am studio, the 10 songs on the album prove that yes, they ARE making rock and roll exciting again. It will be released on January 19th, 2018 via on Rough Trade Records.

Starcrawler formed in 2015 when 18-year-old lead vocalist Arrow de Wilde first met guitarist Henri Cash at their Echo Park high school. Shortly thereafter they were joined by the rhythm section of Austin Smith (drums) and Tim Franco (bass). The foursome play with squalling riffs and thundering beats, and their incendiary live shows, fronted by de Wilde’s otherworldly magnetism, are truly captivating.

Geoff Travis, founder of Rough Trade, explains the label’s love for the band: “If you thought rock and roll was moribund, had lost its sense of fun and performance and primal power – it just means you haven’t seen Starcrawler yet.”

The band have also aired the video for their new single "I Love LA", directed by Autumn de Wilde.
