PRIMO! Announce New LP 'Sogni', Stream "Best and Fairest"

The follow-up to 2018's debut 'Amici', will be out April 17th through Anti-Fade (AU) and Upset The Rhythm (UK), featuring their new single, "Best and Fairest". Pre-order your copy here.
Sogni (which translates to 'Dreams') reflects on themes of decision-making, change, time, heartbreak and the practicalities of work and daily life. Primo!'s music is a study of duality, weaving through these themes with an idiosyncratic delivery that is punctuated by post-punk sensibilities, upbeat jangle and unexpected electronic flourishes. Sogni sees the introduction of Amy Hill on bass, adding to the original trio of Suzanne Walker (drums), Violetta Del Conte-Race and Xanthe Waite (guitars). There’s a freshness here, a breaking of new territory that's a testament to the group’s collaborative work ethic and experience in their associated bands.

Watch: PRIMO! Release Music Video For New Single "Mirage"

Melbourne indie rock/post-punk trio Primo! have released the video for their new single "Mirage".
The song is part of our current playlist and is taken from their upcoming debut album 'Amici', out July 13th through Upset The Rhythm. Pre-order your copy here.
Primo are Xanthe Waite (also of Terry), Violetta DelConte Race (also of The Shifters) and Suzanne Walker (also of amazing film projects). As a trio from Melbourne writing up-tempo, terse chorus and verse, Primo make use of two guitars, drums, sound effects and a group vocal sensibility to ornament their enquiries into deconstructed post-punk. Their songs chime and charm, sounding at times bountiful, at others brittle, always buoyant with attention to detail.
The video filmed and edited by Primo!. Watch it below.
