Watch: Future Islands Air New Single/Video "Moonlight"

Baltimore indie rock/pop band Future Islands have aired the video for their new single "Moonlight".

The song is taken from their upcoming new album 'As Long As You Are', released October 9th on 4AD. Pre-order it here.

From the band: "Moonlight’ is a song about love in a depressive state. It’s about recognizing the holes in ourselves and recognizing the circular whole of others, is about acceptance because that’s what love allows us all."

The video was directed by Daniel Pappas, who explains: "It's hell in here!" A familiar refrain for anyone battling with the opposing forces inside their head. When I first heard Moonlight I kept thinking about the idea of reconciling one’s demons. The video represents that inner dialogue and the struggle to find some sort of peace of mind. Set against the backdrop of suburban America where big box retail stores and restaurant chains have made most of our decisions for us."
