New Entry: Lime Garden Release New Single "Marbles"

Brighton indie rock/pop/psych band Lime Garden have released their new single "Marbles".

The song is out today (January 18) through So Young Records, it follows previous single ‘Clockwork’ and finds the band turning up the distorted-disco dial to the max, and in the process creating a bouncing (disco) ball of infectious nervous energy. Get it here.

Singer Chloe Howard explains: “‘Marbles’ is about the realisation that you're not sharing the same lifestyle as those around you. It's about overthinking that comparison to the point where you question your own sanity or direction in life. It tells the story of an individual on a journey of self-discovery that the listener is witnessing from afar but with access to their internal monologue.”

Speaking about it, singer and co-writer Chloe Howard says: “‘Clockwork’ was written at a time when we were feeling trapped in the cycle of our everyday lives. We wanted to capture that sense of being caught in a continuous loop where emotions sometimes lead us to a dark and frantic mindset. We’ve grown up being in this band at this time, somewhat losing that naïve childlike feeling of expecting to feel on top of the world every day.”

Watch: Lime Garden Unleash New Single/Video "Pulp"

Brighton indie rock/pop/psych band Lime Garden have unleashed the video for their catchy new single "Pulp".

The song is out now through So Young Records. Get it here.

Speaking about it, singer and co-writer Chloe Howard says: The song was inspired by a surreal dream myself and Annabel [Whittle] fashioned, imagining a man covered in orange pulp dancing through underground streets. We tried to capture that feeling of absurdity within this track. The Simon character takes its reference from a dark nursery rhyme type character, but it’s someone we’d still want to dance with!”
