Watch: Soft Metals Unleash New Music Video For "No Turning Back"

Los Angeles-based electronic duo Soft Metals (aka Ian Hicks and Patricia Hall) have unleashed a new kool  video version for their tune "No Turning Back".

We've already seen the first clip for the song in February, now the pair have made a new version for it. 

The song is part of our current playlist and is taken from their excellent sophomore album 'Lenses', released in July 2013 via Captured Tracks. Grab your copy here if you haven't already.

Watch: Soft Metals Release Music Video For "No Turning Back"

Los Angeles-based electronic duo Soft Metals (aka Ian Hicks and Patricia Hall) have released the video for their latest single "No Turning Back".

The video was created by director and performance artist Erica Schreiner, who co-directed their video for "On A Cloud"and

Watch: Soft Metals Share Music Video For "On a Cloud"

Los Angeles-based electronic duo Soft Metals ((aka Ian Hicks and Patricia Hall)) have shared the video for "On a Cloud".

The song is part of our current playlist and is taken from their excellent sophomore album 'Lenses', released back in July via Captured Tracks. You can get your copy here.

The video was co-directed by performance artist Erica Schreiner, who comments: "The story in the video speaks about how living in a dream or on a cloud, doesn’t last for long and can be a deception. Very quickly too much sweetness can make you sick." .

Album of the Week July 08/13: Soft Metals 'Lenses'

Our featured album this week is Los Angeles-based electronic duo Soft Metals sophomore album 'Lenses', which will be out on July 16th through Captured Tracks.

Soft Metals (aka Ian Hicks and Patricia Hall) eight-track record features guest appearances by Diego Herrera of Suzanne Kraft and Pharaohs, as well as a guest spot by Keith McIvor of Glasgow mainstay Optimo, who adds keys and percussion to a few songs. 

Hicks and Hall have also cited synth innovators Christ Carter and Klaus Schulze as as primary influences on 'Lenses.'

As reported, the album shows the duo moving in a more dance-oriented direction. It will take you into a cosmic dance journey...
