Watch: Crystal Cities Air "Could You Love Me Again" Music Video

Sydney indie/dream pop band Crystal Cities have aired the video for their latest single "Could You Love Me Again".

The song is taken from their debut album 'Under The Cold Light Of The Moon', which came out in May 2019. Buy it here.

“We wanted to explore a different angle of interpretation of the lyrics for the music video. Love is portrayed so often in a romantic sense so instead we wanted to look at the love of family; in particular the bond that exists between that of a grandparent and grandchild. The story is a true tragedy in this instance since at the beginning of the video it is revealed that ‘Emily’ has been lost at sea, thus inverting the common experience of a grandchild losing their grandparent. We watch the boat captain go about his day-to-day mundane existence all the while being reminded of the seemingly simple but very rewarding moments he once shared with his granddaughter on the boat. He re-lives these moments as precious treasures in his mind. He appears to have reached a peaceful stage in the grieving process where he understands that the loving energy that he and Emily shared is not that far away and in fact still exists.” - Jared King (bass / backing vocals)

Watch: Crystal Cities Reveal "If I Don't Make the Morning" Video

Sydney indie/dream pop band Crystal Cities have dropped the video for their latest single "I Hear a Cold Wind Calling".

The song is taken from their debut album 'Under The Cold Light Of The Moon', which came out in May. Buy it here.

“We wanted to make sure the underlying melancholy of the track didn’t go unnoticed. It can be a little deceptive since the song could be described as quite upbeat. Anyway, we gave free rein to Vittoria, our video director to come up with whatever story she saw fit. I was so amazed at how she managed to construct such a deep narrative that packed the emotional punch of a full length movie into the space of a 3 minute 38 second song! It’s raw and real and carried so convincingly by actors Crystal Moran and Justin Miltenyi.” - Jared King (bass / backing vocals)

Watch: Crystal Cities Drop "I Hear a Cold Wind Calling" New Video

Sydney indie/dream pop band Crystal Cities have dropped the video for "I Hear a Cold Wind Calling".

The song is taken from their debut album 'Under The Cold Light Of The Moon', which came out in May. Buy it here.

The character in the music video is sick of trying to control and micro-manage the outcomes of his chaotic world which in reality he has no control over. He is looking for something deep within himself, something more primal, more spiritual; something that is hard to find in capitalist Western culture. He hears ‘a cold wind calling’ and is turning his back on the things he’s built his life around; instead seeking and submitting to the answers he finds in the natural world so he can find a true sense of self and purpose. -JK

Watch: Crystal Cities Unleash "Binary Eyes" Music Video

Sydney indie/dream pop band Crystal Cities have unleashed the video for their latest single "Binary Eyes".

The song is part of our current playlist and is the second single from their debut EP 'Who’s Gonna Save Us Now', released back in March. Buy it here.

About the video,  director, Vittoria Merlino-Dentice says: "For the ‘Binary eyes’ music video I wanted to display a slight amount of satire, this being the historical statues with ‘modern-day’ quirks, to bring a lightness to the more serious themes the song presents. My interpretations of the themes being ‘we all made up of the same essential things, a brain, heart, curiosity’ and ‘the frightening feeling that we’re only a narcissistic speck of dust in the universe’, these lead me to my inspirations which were; ‘Alice in Wonderland’ and ‘The Wonderful Wizard of Oz ’."

New Entry: Crystal Cities Premiere New Single "Good Life"

Sydney indie/dream pop band Crystal Cities have premiered their catchy new single "Good Life".

The song oozes with dreamy vocals and lush, psychedelic textures, that’s reminiscent of 80's Manchester scene that saw the birth of amazing bands such as The Stone Roses and The Charlatans.

The recording process was a proper garage recording – yep it was recorded in a garage. The garage - umm studio is called Bamm Bamm Wolfgang and the boys laid down the single with modest gear, which made it fun and stress free.
