Chappaqua Wrestling Drop New Single/Video "Wayfinding"

London via Manchester indie/alt band Chappaqua Wrestling have dropped the video for their brand new single "Wayfinding".

“‘Wayfinding’ is a song to guide you through the ups and downs of doing something you really believe in,” they explain. “However glossy-eyed you are on a weekend about life, the mid-week lull can come to ruin it. The monotony of work, the routine of debt via rent and pub eating at your soul.”

“Sometimes you gotta be strong and ignore the present depressing times, and think about how generally things are moving in the right direction. You have to believe.”

The song is out today (September 21) via EMI, grab it here. and watch/listen below.

Watch: Chappaqua Wrestling Share New Single/Video "Full Round Table"

London via Manchester indie/alt band Chappaqua Wrestling have shared the video for their new single "Full Round Table".

The song is out today (May 25) and is the band's first single of 2022 and their first for new label EMI. Grab it here.

UPDATE 30/05/2021: "Full Round Table" is our new Single of the Week!

Talking about it, the band said: "We wrote Full Round Table as a reaction to the endless negativity put in our faces about our generation’s future. So much news is greeted with the response of how screwed we are - hopeless views from unhelpful people. Negativity about youth is relative per generation but today it feels stronger. We want to ignore the cynicism, get together, appreciate what really matters, and not let people tell us what we can't do. The Full Round Table is full of our friends, and that’s not changing."

New Entry: Chappaqua Wrestling Reveal New Single "Football"

Brighton via Manchester indie/alt duo Chappaqua Wrestling (Jake Mac and Charlie Woods) have revealed their new single "Football".

Speaking about it, Woods explains: “On ‘Football’ we take one riff and develop it layer after layer, and it grows harder and harder as it moves on. On top of all the brutishness is a story of social displacement, and unease in one’s surroundings.”

Woods added: “The lyrics we recently added as a homage to our teenage years in Brighton, with some of the social-angst of that time. It features our old-Brighton friend and recent band addition John Townsend on the drums, and we feel ‘Football’ shows a hard pulse from us which hadn’t previously been captured on record.”

The song is out now through Good Flavours Records. Take a listen below.
