Adwaith Unleash Music Video For "Nid Aur"

Carmarthen post rock/post punk band Adwaith have unleashed the video for their latest single "Nid Aur".

The song is taken from their sophomore album 'Bato Mato' which came out in July via Liber tino Records. Grab it here.

Although Bato Mato was made in Wales alongside a close circle of colleagues, it is inspired by the limitless possibilities of the world in general - and the anguish of having to choose a path as adulthood rears its head. It stands as a guide for anyone embarking on their own epic journey into the unknown, just as Reaction did to create it.

Watch: Adwaith Air New Single/Video "Wedi Blino"

Carmarthen post rock/post punk band Adwaith have aired the video for their new single "Wedi Blino".

Following on from the soaring melodies of euphoric opening single 'ETO', latest cut 'Wedi Blino' cranks up the fuzz and digs deeper into the anxieties of your early 20's. Their eagerly anticipated sophomore album Bato Mato, due 1st July via Libertino. 

"We wanted to create a big indie pop song that has a melancholy feel to it" say the band. "It's about being worried that life is going too fast or the worries of a relationship, the overwhelming feeling that you're not good enough and that you are the reason things aren't working out."

New Entry: Adwaith Air Double A-Side Single "Orange Sofa / BYD FFUG"

Carmarthen post rock/post punk band Adwaith have aired a new double A-side single "Orange Sofa / BYD FFUG".

The single will be out tomorrow (November 22) via Libertino Records.

Vocalist Hollie Singer explained: "Orange Sofa is about the feeling of being stuck in your hometown at a dead end. We wrote it sat on the orange sofa in Heledd's house where we have been practising for the past four years, so we gave the song this self reflective title."

Of the flip, Byd Ffug, which translates to False World, bassist Gwenllian Anthony said: "The inspiration behind it was our jams, experimenting with different sounds/pedals and genres. We wanted to create something fun that you could dance too."

Carmarthen post rock/post punk band Adwaith have unleashed the videos for their songs "Hey" and "Wine Time".

Both tracks are included in our current playlist and will be out as double A side single ‘Wine Time / Hey!’ this Friday via Libertino Records. 

According to the band: “Hey! is a song about people ignoring obvious facts that are right in front of them. Global leaders are not acting upon climate change and they can’t ignore it for much longer!!”

“‘Wine Time’ is about falling for an extremely self-destructive person and the realisation that no matter how hard you try you cannot save a person if they don’t want to save themselves.”
