The video, co-directed by their long-running video and artwork collaborator Ishtar Apsara, is a take on the world of online workout tutorials, which have become a part of daily life for a lot of people in recent times. Instead of an exercise routine however, the band are teaching viewers about the ins-and-outs of ‘stunts…on guitars and beyond’.
Inspired by Spike Jonze skits and silent films from the likes of Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin, each of the four band members (Hassan Anderson, George Williams, Neil Goody and Yuli Levtov) came up with their own list of 15-20 ‘stunts’. Inevitably, a degree of one-upsmanship occurred, and so, after a reasonable start, things quickly take a surreal turn.
