The song is taken from their upcoming sophomore album 'Street Safari', which will be out in February next year, the follow up to their 2016 debut Never Enough.
About the track, frontman John Eatherly told NME: “’MetroTech’ is the soundtrack to your drunken walk home at 6am. From gassing yourself up to be the first on the dance floor, all the way to being the last person awake at the after after party.”
