Toronto indie rock/post punk band Casper Skulls have dropped the video for their new track "Primeval".
The song has been added to our current playlist and is taken from the band's upcoming debut album 'Mercy Works', due out November 3rd via Buzz Records. Pre-order your copy here.
Speaking about the track, guitarist/vocalist Neil Bednis told COS: “The song is about the rising cost of living in major cities. When I was writing I was thinking about what will happen to Toronto when it becomes too expensive for artists and young people to live there. If you look at Manhattan, where there was once this vibrant scene that’s virtually non-existent when it comes to underground music culture. The community who drew people to move to these places are the ones that the city pushes out.”
