Melbourne-based synth pop/post punk duo Hearts and Rockets (aka Kalindy Williams and Kurt Eckardt) have revealed the video for their latest single "Feelings".

The song is part of our current playlist and is taken from their upcoming second studio album 'Power', set to arrive on August 23rd through Psychic Hysteria. Pre-order your copy here.

Williams said of the track, “Sometimes feelings just come on, out of nowhere, and there’s not much you can do about it! And that’s OK - it’s OK to talk about it, and sing about it, and complain about stuff and just. have. feelings. People get embarrassed about it, but everyone has those private moments alone where they think they’re the only ones going through something and it’s so often not the case. Let’s share more about this and create space to talk freely about them - good and bad! You have to live through them, you don’t have to feel like you’re doing it alone.”

Hearts and Rockets Announce New LP 'Power', Stream "Feelings"

Melbourne-based synth pop/post punk duo Hearts and Rockets (aka Kalindy Williams and Kurt Eckardt) have announced the release of their second studio album titled 'Power'.

The 14-track record will be is out on August 23rd through Psychic Hysteria, and is still anchored by the trademark driving bass lines and clattering 808 drum machine beats that have become synonymous with the band, and glimpses of their buzzing analogue synth are sure to catch you unaware. But it’s the addition of Kalindy on guitar that sets this new collection apart.

On Power, the duo reinvent the very sound they created only 2 years ago, all mixed and mastered by their career-long collaborator Mikey Young. Hearts and Rockets have pushed themselves beyond the hazy Heat Wave days, taking the fun and energy of their debut album Dead Beats and adding some serious pop smarts.

Power’s effect is in its simplicity: Hearts and Rockets don’t mince words, and they don’t waste time. Their short-sharp and catchy tracks are fun, without being vapid. They’ll make you want to dance, and definitely sing along, but heads up - you might elbow a few bigots along the way.

New Entry: Peace Unveil New Single "Power"

Birmingham psych-rock/alt band Peace have unveiled their new single "Power".

It was recorded with Simone Felice over in Woodstock, USA and is out today via Ignition Records.

About the track, band member Harry, posted: ''You keep knocking at the door of delirious glory but there's never an answer. You know it is unlocked by a key of your own creation but all your pockets are empty. It is my belief that music, if you let it, will be the oozing ore from which you forge a key.
POWER is not only a call to arms, but a song about wearing that key on a silver necklace while you fly kick the door through and charge heart first into the world wide banquet of love.
To serve it's purpose, it demands certain things, such as the song opening with the chorus, such as the volume being extra large or the images flooding & spilling over the top.
But who cares about that."
