Watch: Parralox Airs "The Black Hit of Space" (Human League cover)

Melbourne electronic/synth pop project Parralox (aka John von Ahlen) has aired the video for his cover version of Human League's classic "The Black Hit of Space".

Parralox have produced a loving recreation of The Human League's classic 2nd album "Travelogue" using analog synths including Matrix Brute, Fairlight CMI30A, Sequential Circuits Pro One and Jupiter 8. Buy it here.

Time stops when you put it... Imagine it's 1981 and Martin Rushent and Giorgio Moroder produced Travelogue. What would that sound like?

Watch: Parralox Reveals "A Question of Lust" (Depeche Mode cover)

Melbourne electronic/synth pop project Parralox (aka John von Ahlen) has revealed the video for his cover version of The Depeche Mode's classic "A Question of Lust".

The song is features only on the CD version of his latest release 'Holiday ‘20'. Buy it here.

New Entry: Parralox Shares "Almost Medieval" (The Human League Cover)

Melbourne electronic/synth pop project Parralox (aka John von Ahlen) has shared his cover version of The Human League's classic "Almost Medieval".

The song is taken from his newest album 'Holiday ‘16', featuring songs by Depeche Mode, The Human League, Heaven 17, Sparks, Cicero and more... released last month (January 27th) via Subterrane Records. Buy it here.

Watch: Parralox Unveil Music Video For "Eye In The Sky" (The Alan Parsons Project Cover)

Melbourne electronic/synth pop band Parralox have unveiled the video for their cover of the Alan Parsons Project 1982's classic "Eye In The Sky".

The song serves as the second single off their concept album 'Recovery', released back in July via Subterrane Records.

The video, starring  high fashion model Rowena Kang, is a collaboration between John Ibrahim (Comme des Garcon/Grey Aviary) and John von Ahlen, and was filmed in von Ahlen's Melbourne studio, constructing a practical mirror box set piece to achieve the optical illusion of infinite reflections.
