Watch: KYTES Share New Single/ Video "the beat is on hold"

Munich-based indie pop/rock quartet KYTES have the video for their brand new single "the beat is on hold".

From the band: “This is a refreshing, danceable and powerful tune. In times where we all are in desperate need of some extra motivation, the track feels even stronger. We were struggling with inspiration for new music. Our tour got postponed twice, we just had released a record shortly before lockdown. So when it came to writing new songs, we had to go down another path. We had to incorporate all these things that happened in the last year. A long break, lockdown, all the things we missed so badly and all the weird hypes like banana bread, home workouts, live streams and so on. Ultimately the song is our call for normality, but in the most positive and uplifting way, we could think of. ”

The song is out today (July 16) via Frisbee Records, stream it below.

Watch: KYTES feat. Nina Chuba Reveal "Supalonely" (Quarantine Cover)

Munich-based indie pop/rock quartet KYTES have revealed "Supalonely", their cover version of New Zealand singer BENEE, featuring Nina Chuba.

The band's words: “Supalonely is a fantastic song we discovered weeks ago at the start of self-isolation. We love how the song deals with a very sad theme but still makes you feel happy afterwards. It helped us get through some rough times, not being able to tour after our album release...more than 20 confirmed festivals cancelled in 2020. We had a lot of fun playing and recording the song and we can’t get the song out of our heads since then. Huge shout out to Nina Chuba We met Nina at a surfcamp in the south of France last year and nobody else couldn’t have done it better .”

New Entry: KYTES Unleash New Single "Runaway"

Munich-based indie pop/rock quartet KYTES have unleashed their new single "Runaway".

The song is taken from their forthcoming second album ‘good luck’, which will be out on February 28 via their own label Frisbee Records. Pre-order your copy here.

About the song, the band said: “‘Go Out’ is a song that throws us right back to our teenage days. Life was way easier. After school we’d just ring on each others doorbells and hang out. No smartphones needed. No group chats, no voice memos or video chats. If we couldn’t just go out, we called on this thing called the landline telephone. Some of you may still know it. So we feel ‘Go Out‘ is a throwback song, lots of nostalgia, good memories… and it’s definitely gonna be a banger live.”
