French post punk band Metro Verlaine have dropped a live video for their new single "You Tear Me Up".
The song is taken from their upcoming second studio album 'Funeral Party', set to arrive on 27 May through Le Cèpe Records.
Shot in an orphanage and produced by Lucie Jeanne Champenois, the song is "the 80's track on the album", says the group, where Raphaëlle on vocals "takes her place".
True tribute to the Cure's album "Seventeen Seconds", it finds all the magnetic Post-Punk energy of the duo. "Robert Smith's shadow is never far away when it comes to dancing in the rain. Toxic love has fled and the sun is finally rising," comments Metro Verlaine.
