The song was produced by Matt Hogan and Samira Winter, and was written during Samira’s 30 day songwriting challenge in August 2013. From that song-a-day project, Samira and Nolan Eley the original producer/engineer of the band Winter - chose 10 songs which led to their first album 'Supreme Blue Dream', however "Dreaming" never made it on the record.
Winter is currently working on their new LP.
