Listen: Girl Ray Drop "Christmas Wrapping" (The Waitresses Cover)

North London indie pop girls Girl Ray have dropped their cover version of The Waitresses' Xmas classic "Christmas Wrapping". 

The cover is available for free now, the song was originally released on the 1981's compilation album 'A Christmas Record' via ZE Records.

New Entry: Astari Nite Release New Single "Lovesick"

Miami post punk/dark wave band Astari Nite have released their new single "Lovesick".

The song was produced by Rees Bridges (Dirty Vegas, Pete Doherty and Tears for Fears), and mastered by Emily Lazar "The Lodge" who has worked with such legendary acts as David Bowie, Depeche Mode, Foo Fighters and Sonic Youth. Buy your copy here.

About the track, the band's lead vocalist Mychael Ghost, explains: "Lovesick is about rejoicing in the memory of those who have passed on in our lives, whether it is someone we know and or admire. I'd like to think of it as a Eulogy or an anthem for saying goodbye."
