Canadian indie rock/new wave band Hollow Graves have dropped the video for their new single "Marriott".

From the band: "Earlier in the pandemic, our lead singer and his girlfriend found themselves living in a hotel after a flood-from-above destroyed their fifth storey apartment in downtown Toronto. 

 

Being secluded in the hotel for two months led them to contemplate their relationship, which is reflected in our new song. 'Marriot' leans into the garage side of our music, with a fresh element that lends itself to communicating the mental struggle at the heart of the lyrics."

New Entry: Jeshua Release New Single "IDK"

Glasgow-based introspective dream pop artist Jeshua (aka Joshua Gray) has released his new single "IDK".

The song presents a shift in space and tone for Jeshua with darker sounds, driving melodies, and an ethereal backdrop.

Lyrically, it offers cynical reflections on adulthood and careerism—the disillusionment that comes with “growing up”.

His introspective dream-pop encapsulates the everyday experiences of a fly-on- the-wall shop assistant, drawing from feelings of disconnection and the need for distraction from programmed living.
