Alan is a founding member of Scottish beat superstars ‘The Beatstalkers,’ who were once dubbed ‘The Scottish Beatles,’ and in the mid 1960’s brought in a young David Bowie to co-write and sing backing vocals on a number of tracks. Later, Alan was also a member of the legendary rock band ‘The Only Ones,’ who released what many consider to be an all time classic track ‘Another Girl, Another Planet.’
