Sonically the ‘Infinite Jets’ stays true to their roots paring warm synth pads with reverb soaked guitars creating the washed out blanket of noise Juliper Sky are known for.
“I just wanted to create something that had the balls of a rock track but without all the typical traits of a rock track. I feel as through our Manchester routes and the musical heritage we have has subconsciously crept through with the opening riff of the tune”. Jamie Vocalist and lyricist commented on how “the lyrics intentionally vague but I believe it’s about a person trying escape old habit s and desires but is failing to do so, ending up in a vicious cycle. The somber tone is disguised with some trippy and colourful phrasing though”
Ever keen to explore new creative processes Juliper Sky worked alongside Manchester producer Andy Gannon (Jekyll, Cosmo Calling) to bring the track to life. The source materials were recorded in numerous DIY set ups around their home city of Manchester, UK including their own makeshift studio. “Working with Andy on this record brought a whole new level to the vocal production, from the start he wanted to capture Jamie’s vocal performance in a different light from previous records”. Daniel, Juliper Sky.
