English indie rock band The Cribs have released their new track "Orange Star Rattle".
The track is taken from their new single 'Different Angle', available on very limited Neon Pink 7". Different Angle is taken from their latest album 'For All My Sisters'. Get the single here.
About the track the band said: "This song is kind of a first for us, in that it is the first and only song that we have ever recorded without any of the band members being in the same room at any one time. As a rule we like to record live, but for this song the fragmented nature of our personal lives meant that it was necessary for us to be dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century.
We have always believed that B-sides are a really important part of our output as a band - they are frequently held up as favourites by our die-hard fans - so have always made every effort to make sure that each of our single releases are accompanied by brand new tracks. 'Orange Star Rattle' was a pretty grand undertaking for a B-side, so hopefully that stands testament to our commitment to giving you guys value for money and to the power of the 7"!
